Men’s Health: The REAL Issues

Published on 02/02/11

Is This Possible?

Benefits of Vitamin D, the best protein powder, workouts to increase lean muscle mass, supplements for prostate health, eating to get six-pack abs…the list goes on and on for the various men’s health topics covered in the lasted men’s health magazines. This information is purposely aimed at targeting where the concern of most men lay depending on their age.

What is it for you?

•Are you looking to add 20 pounds of lean muscle mass?

•Are you looking for a workout to define (or find) your eight-pack abs?

•Are you looking to get rid of the beer belly that has plagued you since your mid-thirties?

•Are you ready to get back into shape?

•Do you want to increase your stamina throughout the day and in the bedroom?

The bottom line is that throughout the years, men’s health goals change depending on the season of their life. But what are the truths that last throughout a man’s lifetime, no matter what the season. Here’s what we’ve come up with.

Results don’t happen by osmosis. Reading the latest men’s health magazine does nothing to your physique until you actually put the information to action. Awareness without action leads to insanity.

Results worth keeping (and that are safe) are never immediate. If you are doing something you realistically will NOT be doing forever, why start it in the first place? The only way to keep results is to continue to work at them.

Don’t believe everything you read. If it sounds too good (or easy) to be true, it probably is.

Be proactive, not reactive when it comes to your health. Listen to the men who have been where you are at. Everything you do to your body and put into your body will affect you later in life…so sad, but so true.

Healthy IS strong and sexy. Since when did taking care of your body all-natural become wrong? Doesn’t it make sense that learning how to eat right (and actually doing it), strength and cardio training, reducing stress, taking great nutritional supplements and getting rest would produce a great body and mind?

The bottom line is when you focus on your health, the physical, mental and emotional results follow. This is a benefit not only for you, but for your family’s health (of future family’s health) as well!
